Notification Badges
Details the creation and configuration of notification badges, which alert users to active records requiring their attention, including defining the badge message.
A Notification Badge guides users to active records requiring attention (e.g., an Incident Report for sign-off). It displays a number and a list of relevant records in the module when hovered. Selecting a list item opens the record.
Create Notification Badges
- Open Form/Workflow Definition for the module.
- Select Notification Badge.
- Select Enable notification badge alerts for this form.
- Select Add.
- Choose an option from Display alert to person(s) in this field (e.g., Assigned to).
- Select an option from when status changes to. (This can be the same step for re-assignment triggers).
- Repeat for other notification instances.
- Manage notifications in the displayed table (Edit or Remove). Cloned forms include notification properties.
Defining Badge Message
- Select Add Variable.
- Select the Field to display in the list.
- Repeat for additional fields.
- Select Save.
