Meetings Module Overview
The Meetings module helps you efficiently record, track, and manage various company meetings. This includes everything from toolbox talks and safety committee meetings to operational reviews and project-specific discussions.
Key Capabilities:
- Centralized Record Keeping: Capture all essential meeting information in one place, including the designated Workgroup and Type (useful for categorization and finding meetings later), a Brief Description, the Convener, Venue, and both internal and external attendees.
- Scheduling & Workflow: Schedule meetings for specific dates and times. The module uses a clear workflow (Draft -> Scheduled -> Completed) to track the meeting lifecycle.
- Automated Notifications: Optionally, automatically notify internal attendees via email when a meeting is formally scheduled. This is controlled by your selection when advancing the meeting record.
- Action & Document Linking: Link meetings to Associated Actions (tasks arising from the meeting) and attach relevant documents (like agendas or minutes). For more details, refer to the "Linking Records," "Actions Management," and "Adding Attachments" help guides.
- Standard System Features: Utilize familiar features like search, filters, and custom views as described in the general help documentation.
Administrators can configure options for fields like 'Workgroup' and 'Type'.
