Using Contractor Accessible Documents
Managing and sharing company documents (e.g., policies, safety procedures) with contractors for their review.
Purpose
The "Contractor Accessible Document" form allows your organization to control and share its own documents (like policies, procedures, or induction materials) with contractors. These are distinct from documents provided by the contractor.
Managing and Sharing
- Internal Management: These documents are created, versioned, and maintained internally using the "Contractor Accessible Document" form. Key fields include "Title," "Doc Type," "Version," and the attachment itself. They have a workflow (e.g., "Draft," "Active," "Archived").
- Making Available to Contractors: Once a document is "Active," it can be linked to specific "Contractor" records (usually in a dedicated section of the contractor's profile). Contractors can then view these documents in their portal.
This ensures contractors have access to the current, approved versions of necessary company information.
