Onboarding Module Overview
Introduction to the Onboarding module, its purpose, and key functionalities for managing new starters and their documentation.
Introduction to the Onboarding Module
The Onboarding module helps your organization efficiently manage the process of integrating new personnel. It provides a central place to handle new starter information, track required documentation, and ensure all onboarding steps are completed.
Key Features:
- New Starter Management: Capture and maintain essential details for new employees or contractors.
- Document Management: Store, track, and manage the expiry of important onboarding documents like contracts and licenses. This includes a dedicated 'Documents' form for managing a library of official documents that new starters may need to acknowledge.
- Guided Workflow: The module guides new starter records through predefined steps, from initial data entry to completion and review. Automated notifications keep relevant people informed of progress and required actions.
- Information & Document Collection: Systematically collect necessary information and documents from new starters, such as qualifications, licenses, and policy acknowledgements, often through linked 'Attachment' records.
- Compliance and Reporting: Gain visibility into the onboarding status of new personnel, helping to ensure compliance with internal policies.
The Onboarding module works with other system features, such as the organizational Hierarchy and the standard Attachments functionality for uploading files.
