Date Fields
How Administrators add date selection fields to forms, with options for default values and validation rules.
The Date tool adds a date picker field. It can be set to a default value (e.g., Current Date) and have validation rules applied to restrict date selection (e.g., prevent future dates). It can be mandatory and include field help.
Steps to Add a Date Field

Open the form in the Form Editor.

Drag the 'Date' button to the desired location.

Enter the 'Name' (label) for the field.

Optionally, 'Add field help'.

Select a 'Default value' from the dropdown if required (e.g., Current Date).

Set 'Mandatory' to Yes or No.

Optionally, configure 'Advanced validation rules'. Select the button, choose the relevant 'Rule' (e.g., Before or on Today, Today plus one month), and click 'Ok'.

Select 'Ok' on the main Date configuration window.

Select 'Save' at the bottom of the Form Definition page.
