Text Fields (Single Line)

How Administrators add single-line free text input fields to forms using the Form Editor.

The Text – Single Line tool allows users to input short free text. It can be set as mandatory, contain default text, and include field help.

Steps to Add a Single Line Text Field

Open the form in the Form Editor.
Drag the 'Text - Single Line' button to the desired location.
Enter the 'Name' (label) for the field.
Optionally, select 'Add Field help' to provide guidance.
Optionally, enter any 'Default Values' to pre-populate the field.
Select 'Yes' or 'No' for 'Mandatory'.
Select 'Ok'.
Select 'Save' at the bottom of the Form Definition page.
