Exporting Data

How to export data from myosh modules to CSV, PDF, or Excel formats.

Most myosh modules allow users to export record lists to various file formats for reporting or offline use.

General Export Steps

  1. Navigate to the module record list you want to export.

  2. Apply any necessary filters (Date, Column Headers) to narrow down the data to be exported.

  3. Customise the displayed columns using 'Settings' or 'Manage Columns' to include the exact data fields required in the export.

  4. Select the 'Export' button, located near the record list controls.

  5. Choose the desired file format: 'PDF', 'Excel', or 'CSV'.

  6. The file will be generated and downloaded.

  7. The exported file can then be saved, printed, or emailed as required.

Important Notes

  • The columns included in the export will match the columns currently displayed in the record list view.
  • Alternatively, there is the option to export full records to include all fields, as 'Excel' or 'PDF' format.
  • In the exported sheet (.csv or .xlsx) some cells may show the value as "#######". This is not necessarily an error, it often just indicates that the column is too narrow to display the full number or date value - a standard behaviour for spreadsheet programs.
  • Some modules might have specific export capabilities or require Admin privileges for certain export types.
  • The Dashboard allows exporting entire Tabs or individual Widgets.
