Searching Records

How to find specific records using various search and filtering methods available in myosh modules.

Most modules in myosh provide tools to help you search and filter records to find the data you need efficiently.

Using Date Filters

A common feature is a date range filter, usually located at the top of the main record list. Options typically include predefined periods like 'All', 'This Month', 'Last Three Months', 'Last Six Months', and 'This Year'.

Using Dropdown Filters (Column Headers)

Clicking on column headers often reveals a dropdown menu with filter options specific to that column (e.g., filter by Status, Assigned Person, Type). You can select one or more checkboxes to apply the filter. If a filter is applied, remember to tick 'Show all' (or clear the filter) to see all records again.

Using Search Records Feature

A dedicated 'Search Records' function (often accessed via a magnifying glass icon) allows for broader searches across terms, modules, authors, and date ranges. Entering criteria and selecting 'Search' typically displays results in a new tab or section, often accessible from the left-side menu panel. These search result tabs can usually be closed when no longer needed.
