Mobile App Account Settings and Syncing
Explanation of options within the Account menu of the myosh app, including settings and data synchronisation.
The Account menu, accessed via the Account icon in the bottom navigation bar, provides access to various settings and logout options.
Account Options

Log out: Logs you out of the app. You will need to enter your username and password again next time.

Notifications: Enabled by default. Allows the app to receive push notifications (if configured). It is recommended to keep this enabled, but it can be turned off.

Geo-location Tracking: If enabled, allows the app to track your location (requires device location settings to be enabled for the app). This may be used by certain module features.

Auto-save Records: Enabled by default. Helps prevent data loss during form completion. Recommended to keep enabled.

Preferred Language: Defaults to English. Contact support@myosh.com for information on other available language options.

Advanced: Displays the MyOSH schema (database environment) you are connected to. For custom users, this may provide an option to switch between OTE (testing) and Production schemas.
Syncing (Online/Offline Mode)
The app operates in both online and offline modes.

Online Indicator: Shows when the app is connected to WiFi or mobile data. Usually displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Offline Indicator: Shows when the app is not connected. Data entered while offline is stored locally on the device.

Syncing Completed: When you select 'Finish' or 'Submit' while online, the record is sent to the server. The status indicator will show 'Syncing Completed' once the data transfer is successful and the record is available for others to view.

Automatic Sync: If you submit data while offline, the app will automatically sync the records to the server the next time it detects an online connection.
