Dashboard Overview

Introduces the myosh Dashboard, explaining its purpose, data sources, and update frequency.

The myosh Dashboard is an interactive business intelligence tool that displays key data collated from various myosh modules and potentially other sources like web services or custom databases. It provides a visual overview of important metrics and information upon logging into myosh.

Purpose

The Dashboard helps users quickly grasp performance indicators, trends, and status updates relevant to their roles and responsibilities by presenting data in graphical formats (charts, graphs, tables, maps) called Widgets, organized within customizable Tabs.

Data Sources and Updates

Data is collected periodically (typically once per day, overnight) from myosh modules (myosh4, Viking) and potentially other configured sources. This means the dashboard data reflects the state of the system as of the last update, usually within the last 24 hours. The update frequency can potentially be adjusted on a per-customer basis by contacting myosh support.

Access and Visibility

The Dashboard is typically visible on the Home Page after logging in. Its appearance and the data displayed depend on the configuration of Tabs and Widgets, which can be customized by Administrators and potentially by individual users based on their permissions.
