Drills and Exercises Module Overview
Provides an overview of the Drills and Exercises module, used for planning, executing, and tracking safety drills and exercises.
Purpose of Drills & Exercises
Emergency Drills and Exercises are essential for businesses to assess, practice, and improve performance in a simulated risk-free environment. The Drills and Exercises module facilitates the planning, execution, and tracking of these critical activities.
Use this module to manage various types of drills, such as responses to severe weather, medical emergencies, or fire. System Administrators can customize the list of Drill types to suit organizational needs.
Key Capabilities
- Define Drill Schedules: Establish a central register for various drill types, specifying their intended frequency, location, and the person accountable. This is managed through a "Drills & Exercises" record, which acts as the master plan for a drill series.
- Log Drill Occurrences: Record each instance a planned drill is conducted. This is achieved by adding "Drill History" records, which link back to the main "Drills & Exercises" record.
- Track Associated Actions: Link or create corrective or preparatory actions related to both the overall drill plan and specific drill occurrences. Refer to help documents on 'Linking Records' and 'Actions Management' for more details.
