Health Management Roles and Permissions
Understand how different user roles affect access and actions within the Health Management module.
Understanding Roles and Permissions
Your ability to interact with the Health Management module (e.g., view, create, or modify records) depends on your assigned user role(s). Common roles involved are "Admin" (System Administrators) and "Health Management Monitors" (or a similar role responsible for managing health records).
General User Access (e.g., Health Management Monitors):
- Creating Records: Users in this role can typically create new Health Management records.
- Viewing Records: They can generally view existing Health Management records.
- Editing Records: They can usually edit records, especially those that are in active workflow statuses like 'Draft', 'Open', or 'Overdue'. The ability to edit records in 'Complete' or 'Archived' states might be restricted.
- Managing Attachments & Details: They can typically add or modify attachments and other details on records they have edit access to.
- Progressing Records: They can usually move records through the defined workflow steps (e.g., marking a 'Draft' as 'Open', or an 'Overdue' record as 'Complete').
Administrator Access (Admin Role):
- Full Control: System Administrators typically have full permissions across the module.
- All Actions: This includes creating, viewing (all records, including drafts), editing (in any status), and deleting Health Management records.
- Import/Export: Administrators usually have the permissions to import data into the module or export data from it.
- Configuration: They are responsible for configuring the module, including setting up health items, providers, and notification rules.
Key Permissions to Note:
- Creating new records: Usually available to roles like "Admin" and "Health Management Monitors."
- Editing records: While Admins can edit records in any state, other users might find that editing is restricted once a record is 'Complete' or 'Archived.'
- Deleting records: This permission is typically restricted to "Admin" roles.
If you have questions about your specific access levels or what actions you can perform within the Health Management module, please contact your system administrator.
