Using Training Matrix Filters
Explains how to apply filters in the Training Matrix to view Mandatory, Desirable, and other completed competencies.
Default View
By default, the Training Matrix displays only Users who have at least one Mandatory Occupational Requirement assigned, and it only shows the status of those Mandatory competencies.
Example: If a user only has Desirable competencies assigned via Occupation Requirements, they will not appear in the default matrix view. If a user has at least one Mandatory competency assigned, they will appear, but only that Mandatory competency (and any others assigned as Mandatory) will be shown by default.
Applying Filters
Filters are applied using the Filter icon, which opens a panel typically defaulting to the 'Filter' tab.
Showing Desirable Competencies

Select the Filter Icon.

Ensure the 'Filter' tab is selected.

Select the 'Show Desirable Competencies' check-box.

The matrix will update to include columns for competencies marked as Desirable in the Occupation Requirements. The legend will also update to show specific icons for Desirable competency statuses.
Showing Other Completed Competencies
This filter displays training records that are not defined as Mandatory or Desirable in Occupation Requirements, but only if they have a status of 'Completed' or 'About to Expire'.

Select the 'Show All Completed Competencies' check-box.

The matrix will update to include these additional completed or expiring competencies.
