What is myosh Online Learning?
myosh Online Learning is a platform for creating, sharing, testing, and verifying knowledge through online courses. It integrates directly with myosh Viking Training Records to track user enrolment and completion. 1
Key Features
- Course Creation: Administrators can create courses by uploading SCORM, PDF, or MP4 content. Creating a course also automatically creates a corresponding 'Competency' in the Training Management module to enable integrated tracking. 2
- Course Management: Administrators can edit course details, manage versions, and activate or deactivate courses. Inactive courses are not available for enrolment. 2
- Enrolment Management: Users can be enrolled into active courses. This action creates or updates a corresponding Training Record for the user in the Training Records module. 3
- Public Invitations: A public access link or QR code can be generated for individual courses, allowing non-myosh users to complete them. Upon completion, a 'Contractor Training Record' is automatically created. 3
- Progress Tracking: User progress is monitored through the integration with Training Records. The 'Online Learning' section within a user's training record will automatically update to show status (e.g., Not Started, In Progress, Completed) and completion dates. 3
- Course Library: A view that lists all active courses available in the system. Users can browse courses, and administrators can preview SCORM content directly from the library. 4
- My Courses: A personalized view for each user showing the status of all courses they are enrolled in, with options to start courses, download certificates, or retake completed courses. 4
Automated Enrolment
For advanced use, the Rules Engine can be configured to automatically enrol new users into mandatory online courses. This is achieved by creating a rule that triggers when a new mandatory Training Record is created for a user, which then creates the corresponding enrolment in the Online Learning module. 3
